In this capacity, Marty will oversee Funambol sales and customer relationships on a worldwide basis.
Marty brings significant operator expertise to Funambol, including 20+ years of management and operational experience at Vodafone and AT&T. In addition, Marty has worked with numerous other carriers around the globe to introduce many innovative mobile solutions. Marty's experience enables him to understand carrier pressures and priorities, and what they need to successfully introduce revenue-generating services.
Before Funambol, Marty was General Manager and Senior Vice President at Good/Visto, where he significantly increased sales and active users in the Americas. He spent more than a decade at Vodafone, where he held numerous positions including Vice President, Americas Region; Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone Egypt; and Director of International Marketing. Marty also worked at AT&T/Pacific Bell in the U.S. and Airtouch/Proximus in Belgium, providing him with valuable international experience.
