Funambol provides white-label cloud solutions to mobile operators and other service providers. Funambol solutions include a personal cloud, business cloud, IoT cloud and SIM cloud. The company's solutions are deployed in 50 countries for hundreds of millions of people.

Funambol operates in the cloud services market. Over-The-Top (OTT) consumer clouds include Apple iCloud, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox. Funambol's OneMediaHub differentiates itself from the OTT solutions by providing a feature rich, flexible, white-label (branded to a mobile operator's requirements), digital life-centric personal cloud solution.

Funambol's OneMediaHub solution can be hosted 'on-premise' or be hosted in a third party cloud environment. Business cloud competitors include enterprise versions of the above, e.g. Box and Dropbox for Business. Funambol's OneBizHub differs from the OTTs as it is a white-label offering, with features, usability and security aimed specifically for small & medium businesses and can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud. Funambol's management team has extensive experience in the mobile cloud market.

Amit Chawla

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Amit has an extensive background of executive leadership and operational excellence in the mobile industry, most recently as CEO of enterprise mobility specialist Agito Networks, which was acquired by ShoreTel [NASDAQ: SHOR]. Prior to Agito, Amit was CEO of NexVerse Networks, where he spearheaded the merger with a division of ECI Telecom to form Veraz Networks which was listed on the NASDAQ in 2007. Amit's deep experience with worldwide carrier and Global 2000 enterprise communications products included leadership positions at Nortel.

Ata Rasekhi

VP PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AND MARKETING
Ata Rasekhi brings 20 years of product experience and a proven track record of building industry-leading software products. Prior to Funambol, Ata was Director of Product Management at Scalix, a leading provider of email and collaboration software. Before Scalix, he ran a successful consulting firm delivering product management and marketing services to high profile startups. Ata has held senior product management and marketing positions at Remedy, Lotus Development, and cc:Mail. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Andrea Gazzaniga

VP ENGINEERING
Andrea Gazzaniga has 25+ years of experience in software development and team leadership. Prior to his current role as head of Engineering at Funambol, he was the Product Development Lead at Sysnet (later acquired by PA Group, Italy). From 1993 to 2003, Andrea gained extensive experience in software development at some of the major Telco manufacturers incl. Italtel, Alcatel, Marconi & Siemens. Andrea is Computer Science graduate from the University of Pavia.

Alberto Onetti

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Alberto Onetti has 20+ years of corporate finance experience as a consultant for leading banking groups and multinational companies. He holds a Ph.D. in corporate strategy and a Master degree in International Finance. He is Professor of management and entrepreneurship at the Department of Economics of the Insubria University.

Christian Marsch

VP SALES, EMEA
Christian Marsch has a strong track record in sales and management in both mobile and publishing industry. Prior to Funambol, he has held senior executive positions at several companies such as PressMatrix, Synchronica and Critical Path. Christian has studied Economics and Psychology at Freie University, Berlin.

Steve Tomasini

VP SALES, AMERICAS & APAC
Steve Tomasini brings over 30 years of successful sales, management and marketing experience to Funambol. His experience centers around the mobile industry, focusing on value-added solutions. Prior to Funambol, he excelled at Panasonic, Lucent, Pantech, Networks in Motion and TCS. He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology - Polymers from California State University, Chico.

Ravi Kumar

VP SALES, South Asia, Middle East and Africa
Ravi Kumar is Vice-President, Sales for South Asia, Middle East and Africa with 24 years of sales and business development experience selling solutions to leading service providers and enterprise verticals. Prior to joining Funambol, Ravi was Regional Vice-President for Nlyte software providing software solutions to the Data Center industry. Previously, Ravi had a successful stint at Dialogic (formerly Veraz Inc.) as Regional Vice-President Sales providing carriers and system integrators with telecom software products and solutions. Ravi Kumar holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering and has completed an Executive leadership program from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
